Hey!

My name is Monique Lagessie but people call me Moe Moe and I’m a graphic designer, with a passion for creating fun and effective designs. My career in design started at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where I received my BFA in Visual Communications. There I learned the basics of typography, the usage of white space and most importantly how to think conceptually.

My interest in design came from my love of fashion, which still is a big part of my life today. Fashion allows someone to express themselves through clothes, in my mind the same goes into graphic design. Expressing ideas to be showcased on billboards, soda cans, emails, evoking the mood and purpose that goes along with it. Great design should capture its intended audience but also serve to wow, instruct, and make things a little easier.
